These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MapSpoto mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and all activity under it.
2. Rules & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to comply with applicable laws and not to:
- Post illegal, infringing, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Collect or disclose others’ personal information without permission.
- Interfere with the Service’s security or operation, or attempt to bypass safeguards.
MapSpoto has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Users who violate these rules may be reported, blocked, restricted, suspended, or permanently removed.
3. Activities & Offline Safety
Activities are created and joined by users. MapSpoto provides tools only and does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, legality, quality, or safety of any user-generated activity. Participate at your own risk.
4. User Content
You retain rights to your content. You grant MapSpoto a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and improve the Service, subject to your visibility settings and applicable law.
5. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement
Users can report objectionable content or abusive users and can block abusive users in the app. MapSpoto reviews safety reports within 24 hours, may remove reported content immediately, and may suspend or permanently ban users who violate these Terms.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate third-party services (maps, push notifications, IP geolocation, error monitoring). Their terms and policies apply to their processing.
8. Termination; Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability
We may suspend or terminate access for violations. The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapSpoto is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
